Crazy Pirates and Crazy Ideas

I.won.something!! yayyy!!! CraftPirate Macoco had a contest that guaranteed a prize to whoever could guess what the pattern on her quilt was. I am not a quilter. But I am a googler!! So I googled and I googled and I found it.

So Macoco sent me this:

Gorgeous - isn't it? And I must agree with her - the little baby alpca drawing is so cute, it makes it even more irresistable. The problem is, I think Macoco is one crazy pirate. Look at what she writes in her note:

ummm.... ya... not so much! I am not knitting this gorgeous yarn into a gift for someone else... pffttt! crazy pirate, yarn is for me!

Now for crazy stunts. This past weekend, I ran a half marathon with Tony's younger sister. If you do not believe me, look at these ridiculously ugly pictures taken my marathon officials.

HA!! I did it. Ok, now this was only a half marathon, not a full marathon, which I will be running Oct.29, but man although it was tons of fun, it was not that easy. It may have had to do with the fact that the whole course was hills and windy roads - but still! Anyways, I am ultra-proud, and a major show-off, so wanted to share that with you guys. And because I am ultra-proud, I am not going to share my horrible time with you guys. Just a word of caution: go to the bathroom before you run a long distance race - i am just saying...

Last but not least, SAP3 is completed. Here is a sneak peek:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is a major accomplishment! Yes, definitely go to the bathroom before the marathon. My boss is a marathoner and she has some crazy stories related to that.

I'm glad you like the yarn! What's with my crazy "typo" in my note - I meant feel free not fell free. That's what happens when you just type on a computer all day :P

You should be proud -- I think only a small percentage of people in this country could make it through a half marathon (and I'm not one of them). Congrats on the accomlishment!

That yarn looks fantastic. I'll knit up into something beautiful, I'm sure!
